Welcome to the Spring 2011 Newsletter and to the Zonda website. Maybe it’s the first time you’ve come across Zonda and you’re interested in finding out more about us. Maybe you are one of our loyal band of existing clients who are fascinated to see what’s new. This new website has replaced our old site zonda-thebbqshop.com, so if you arrived here through the old route, don't worry, you're in safe hands. Roger, Judith and Lee are still here trying our best to help you enjoy life here in the Algarve.

This website has been developed in order to offer our clients, actual and potential, the ability to see some of our products online and also to know that when you visit our new showroom that we have a large range of products and advice available.
Alternatively you can order, without visiting the showroom if you don’t wish to, by calling 289 356 233 or emailing us. Existing clients will know us well and will probably be happy to buy without touching and feeling the product because they trust our choice and are confident of the quality.
New clients may still prefer to come into the showrooms to see at first hand who we are, how we do business and what our products are really like. Once in the showrooms you will see that we are all friendly and easy to get along with and always prepared to ‘go the extra mile’ to ensure your total satisfaction. And there’s nothing we like more than getting to know you and being able to help with your purchasing decision.
IVA
As all of you will know by now IVA (Portuguese VAT) has now increased to a whopping 23% meaning that nearly a quarter of the price that you pay us has to go to the Government! Wherever possible we have absorbed this increase but there are unfortunately items whose price has had to be increased to take account of this new IVA rate.
RELOCATION NEWS!
The really big news this Spring is that we have moved,,,,,again! From Monday 4th April 2011 we will be in our new showrooms, and there are THREE of them. The new site is still on the EN125 but closer to Almancil. So, if you come to us from Almancil or from the A22 just head West towards Vilamoura on the EN125. On the short stretch of dual carriageway from the underpass, the new Zonda showrooms are at the top of the hill on the right, just below Blevins Franks offices and before you reach the BP garage.
Here we have the luxury of 3 showrooms totalling 3,500 square feet of indoor area giving us the opportunity to display a much wider range of Outdoor Furniture than we could before, and in much more pleasant surroundings. FOR DIRECTIONS CLICK HERE
FURNITURE NEWS
Clients who have been with us for years will notice an enormous difference this year. Our Outdoor Furniture offering has been radically enhanced! All of the 'old' ranges have been removed and replaced with brand new ranges from 4 SEASONS, Emu, Alexander Rose, Nardi, Zangenberg and Fibreweave as well as Big Hug Outdoor Bean Bags. These new ranges represent the height of style and include all-weather poly-rattan, very trendy teak and stainless steel.
SHADE NEWS
Now the sun is regaining its summer strength it's time to think seriously about shade! Zonda are proud to be the supplier of the best in top quality awnings. Every Awning is constructed from corrosion resistant, powder coated extruded aluminium profiles and has stainless steel components for durability, all CE marked - the internationally recognised safety and quality benchmark and carry a full 5 year "no quibble" parts guarantee for complete peace of mind.
Twin spring arms with either quadruple or double cable attachments give optimum fabric tension at every position and slim cassettes ensure the fabric and components are protected from all types of inclement weather when closed away.
The angle is fully adjustable from 5º to 38º for ultimate sun protection all year round.
The Fabrics
Zonda's Quality Awnings are available in a choice of over 200 different fabric designs. The material is a 300g/m, spun dyed woven acrylic with a TEXgard coating.
The TEXgard coating makes the material water repellent, colour, light and weatherfast and protects it against all environmental influences like mould, algae, fungae growth etc… Each individual material design is UV rated 801 for optimum protection against the harmful UV rays of the sun.
The Motors & Controls
Effortlessly extend and retract your Zonda Quality Awning at the touch of a button with the addition of a Somfy motor and remote control. Smooth, quiet and reliable these motors will maximise the usage of your Awning all year round.
The addition of a wind sensor will allow your Awning to think for itself - retracting when strong winds pick up.

We have always tried to offer our customers the best products at the best prices and two years ago we reinforced this commitment with a PRICE PROMISE. If you buy from us and subsequently find the identical Product Offering elsewhere within the Algarve at a lower price, we will refund the difference. We sincerely hope that this will allow you to shop at Zonda with confidence that you are getting the best value for money. Those of you who are existing clients know we already provide a level of service that others only aspire to.
